The project “From the Archive to the Stage: Cultural Production of Biographical Testimonies from The African Diaspora” aims to investigate the collaborative processes between historians, artists, and cultural producers when taking archival research beyond the academic space and into artistic platforms. The discussions will operate through interviews and made public as a podcast series. This podcast series aims to make the discussions public and better comprehend how individual trajectories of trauma are represented in art. Specifically, how -- in the context of Black Diasporic cultural production - public history initiatives conceptualize individual traumatic experiences which emerged during or after Atlantic enslavement.
